Even Start of Tuscarawas County

To qualify for Even Start you must be a parent or a caregiver of a child birth through age 7, meet the federal income guidelines, and have one of the following goals:

Earn your GED
Improve your reading/math skills
Prepare for a job
Learn English as a Second Language

The first step to beginning Even Start classes is scheduling an orientation by calling (330) 308-9939 ext. 8210.

All families are required to attend orientation before attending classes at Even Start.
At orientation you will meet the Even Start staff and be given a tour of the Even Start classrooms.
You are asked to bring your children ages birth through 5 with you to orientation. While you are attending orientation your children will attend the Even Start infant/toddler program for children ages birth through 3 years old or the Even Start preschool for children ages 3-5.
