Even Start of Tuscarawas County

Tuscarawas County Even Start is a free family literacy program for parents and caregivers who have infants, toddlers, preschoolers, or school age children through age 7. Parents can earn their GED in the adult classroom at the same time their children attend one of the Even Start early childhood programs. Light meals and transportation are provided.

Even Start is designed to improve the educational skills of young children and their parents. This is accomplished by integrating the following components.

Adult Education
Early Childhood Education
Parenting
Parent and Child Time (PACT)
